The project represents the idea of a scientific approach combined with artistic processes. In a series of various experiments, the central theme is the work with fixed parameters. On photographic film material visual alterations can be recognized, which have been provoked through specific external influences. In an experimental way of working, chemical, thermal and other manipulations
had been made which result in a number of test patterns. The analog middle-format as well as the motif of the power pole were the basic conditions for the process. The clearly defined procedure of the experiments is combined with an unconventional handling of the analog material. The film and the nature of its material become the central issue of the investigation.
